Away in a Manger - arr. Rebekah Sorensen (SATB)

"Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay close by me forever and love me, I pray.” 🤍
This was the very verse and lyrics that inspired this new melody and version of this beloved Christmas hymn.

One of my greatest desires is to feel the Savior close by. To truly feel His presence.
I know as we remember Him and seek to draw near to Him, He will draw near to us.
And then He will “fit us for heaven to live with [Him] there.”
Merry Christmas! I hope this reimagined version brings new and added meaning to these tender words written so beautifully!

- Rebekah Sorensen
